Subject: "Brief Encounter"
The idea for this episode was based on a play by Noel Coward (Still Life) which was later made into the film, Brief Encounter. It is very well done and a dramatic departure from the typical Goldbergs episodes.
Subject: One of the best
One of the very best episodes of "The Goldbergs". I am surprised she got away with having the word "hell" in the script back then.
Subject: Yoo Hoo Mrs. Goldberg.
Episode Title: The poet - Air Date: Nov. 17, 1955
Subject: An excellent program
This was a very sensative and intelligently written script of "THE GOLDBERG." Gertrude Berg was so talented!
